Out of State next few days
Hi Racers-
I will be in UT for training during the next week. Getting my feet wet to be a Blackbottoms Cyclewear Rep. The great part is I will not have to leave Butte. Not sure how much time I will have to access TRP site. Please be patient. As most of you know I already have limitted access to check anything going on. Soon that will change.
And the first meeting for the 5th Ann. Butte 100 is scheduled for wk. of Aug 23rd. Putting key people in chair positions.
Thanks,
Gina

Top 2 Women
I can vouch that Zephanie was 1st and Janelle was 2nd. I was with Zeph until we crossed the bridge over I90 at the speed skate center (when I "let" her go. Ha.) We chatted briefly and noted that no other ladies were in front of us. Janelle (Revolution Cycling) caught me for awhile on the Nez Pierce climb and ended up finishing maybe 40 minutes behind me. I saw no other women on course. I didn't see Hilary finish. But, I was at the finish line until after Janelle finished -- and so no other women. (Congrats to Zeph, Janelle, and Hilary! This is the first year that we've actually had 3 women finishers!) ~Rich S.
As for my race observations,
As for my race observations, two women passed me coming out of aid station 6 riding really strong. Later on in the last switchback sections I caught and passed the one wearing a red and white jersey, who came in behind me. On the results, I was surprised that her time was not posted. I finished right at dusk. Props to all the strong ladies out there!!! Sarah

Women's results
Hi -
I'm not sure myself. I thought there were 6 women racing and knew that I finished ahead of three (Rachel, Sarah, and Shelly). I saw Zephanie and knew for certain that she had won but never saw Janelle at any time during the event. I thought I had come in third but was told I was second. Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Hilary
Womens results
Not sure either. I know that I was a lonely gal after aid station 1. I was told at aid station 7 that I was the second female to come through. I was also told when I finished that I was the second female. I know I rode with a gal named Sarah Olsen until aid station 1. My garmin told me I finished in 14 hours and 15 minutes.
